Posterino 3 App Reviews
For the price I extected something that is at least usable. This might a great app for someone trying to randomly jam dozens of pics onto a sheet of paper, but difficult to use if you have any of your own design ideas. In my case I’m doing a simple poster of a hockey player with a team photo superimposed with a title -> no luck.
I was using Posterino 2.0 no problem and loved it. I thought I would upgrade as I figured Posterino 3 would be even better. DON’T buy this if you want to creative at all!! Basically all it allows you to do is choose the photos you want and switch their positions slightly. You can’t change the size/shape of the frames or move them around how you like, basically all the features from the older version are gone. I want my money back!! So disappointed!
loved Posterino 1. Posterino 3 is buggy!
There’s no function to fit frame to image aspect and size. Spaceless layout doesn’t work well - it only fits with either horisontal, either vertical frames. Doesn’t work with mixed orientation. Very bad! Deman for qiuck update.
Been using Posterino for years for both hobby and paid work. Works great and makes putting the collages together as easy (and fast) as possible. Highly recommend.
Just purchased in the last few weeks. It has a great looking interface and is very easy to understand and use. Everything seems to flow freely without any problems. I would recommend this application to anyone who enjoys working with their photo’s. It makes beautiful calendars in various styles. It makes some very interesting and creative layouts. Reed
I have used this for years and love the recent upgrade. I have not had any issues, ever! When I had a question concerning how to do something, I had an immediate reply and response. This is a very excellent product.
I’ve been using Posterino for several years now and bought this new version just today. Wow! Great app just got amazing! I love working in full screen mode. App is stable, I created 13 posters today and it worked beautifuly. Lots of customization options but the built-in templates are also tasty. Overall I rate this app 5 STARS - it’s really great!
I used to like using Posterino to create easy and quick poster layouts, or even photo grids for my design projects (I’m a graphic designer). The key word phrase is “used to”. This version of Posterino is buggy. When you adjust the page margins, the photo objects don’t adjust appropriately. The linking to the photos app is problematic. In the mean time, I still have the old version of Posterino installed on my Mac, but it shouldn’t be this way. The latest version of an app should be a step forward—not backward.
I’ve been using Posterino for family cards since 2011. This new version plugs right into Apple Photos and you can get a great layout up in under a minute. But if you’re looking for more, you can customize everything. I miss the “Irregular” layout, but welcome “Tile” to the mix.
POsterino3 is a time waster and extremely frustrating so called upgrade. Photos constantly get moved around even in manual mode once placed; settings suddenly change from what you set them at (i.e.: 4 rows x 4 rows may become 3 rows X 4 rows and move your photos around) or become landscape or portrait despite your previous settings. I have had to go back to Posterino 1 to complete a project which took me 1 hour to complete when i took me 3 evenings at 2 hours each of frustration NOT to complete in posterino 3. I have used posterino 1 for quite a while so i know how to use it fairly well and was looking forward to upgrades. now i would just like my $19.99 back.
